Chinese actress/martial artist Juju immigrated with her parents from Hong Kong to the United States when she was three years old. The family settled in San Francisco where she grew up with her twin sister.
She studied at the highschool in San Francisco and graduated with a Bachelors degree with honors in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of San Francisco in 2005. She earned a Masters Degree in TV and film at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2007. She practiced ballet, skiing, swimming and diving as teenager.
Model Career
She participated at the Miss Chinatown USA Pageant contest in january 2009 in San Francisco, where she won the TVB People's Choice Award. She also won the United Nations Pageants International in Jamaica, where she won the Miss Congeniality, Miss United Nations China, Miss International Ambassador and Miss Photogenic titles in july 2009. She was also semi-finalist at the Miss Hong Kong 2010 contest, but withdrew from the contest for personal reason.
Taekwondo
She has a black belt in taekwondo and is the only female actress in Hong Kong who masters the use of nunchuckus and double nunchuckus. She is a Hong Kong taekwondo (ITF) National Team Representative who competes at the 18th World Taekwon-Do (ITF) Championships in Bulgaria (2013). She won a gold medal in Female black belt pattern and a bronze medal in Female black belt sparring competitions at the China open taekwondo (ITF) Championships (2013). She was bronze medalist in Female 2nd Dan Pattern at the 7th ITF World Championship in Nepal (2014). She becomes mauy thai (thai boxing) champion in the 46KG weight class at the WMC The One Legend Thai Boxing Championship in Hong Kong (2014).
Charity
She gets involved in a local organization who works with children and is part of the mentorship program of the organization. She is the spokesperson and ambassador of Heroes 2, a charity organization which focuses on reforestation throughout the areas of rural China in 2010. She won an Action on Film Award for "Breakout Action Star - Female - Short" for her role in "Hit Girl" at the Action on Film International Film Festival (USA) in 2013.

She made her action movie debut as Julie Chou in the action movie ''Unconditional Love'' (2010). Richard Stephenson (played by Shaun Moir) is a christian man who struggles with the abduction of his sister Jenny Stephenson (played by Sarah Welsh). He hires two former soldiers to rescue his sister out of the hands of dangerous criminals.
She plays a wing chun girl next to Xiao Long Wang, Zhong Zheng and Wah Yuen in the action movie ''The Young Boxer'' (2013).
She plays the sexy killer Barbie Pixie Ho next to Maria Tran who plays the hot-tempered Charlie Vu in ''Hit Girls'' (2013). Both girls go on an unusual undercover assignment as school girl, on their former primary school in order to unmask the son of a triad boss.
She plays Chinese beauty Meili next to Josh Thomson who plays the lead role as former MMA fighter Damon in ''Fist of the Dragon'' (2014). Damon gets troubles with an underground arms dealer during his journey to China, where he meets his new lover Meili.
She plays Silver Dart Shi in this story where Yu Shu Lien (played by Michelle Yeoh) still mourns about the death of Li Mu Bai in ''Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend'' (2015). She has the task to protect his sword the ''Green Destiny'', but underground warlord Hades Dai (played by Jason Scott Lee) sends his lieutenants to steal the sword, with plans to dominate the martial world. She gets help of an young mysterious swords-woman Snow Vase (played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo), a hero with a past Silent Wolf (played by Donnie Yen) and a disparate band of warriors who still believe in the iron way of honor, in order to stop the plans of the underground warlord.
